Awkwafina
Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician from the United States who was first noticed for her clever raps that delved into racial and sexual identity with a boldly comic perspective. Her career then grew into Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. At college, she concentrated on studies, concentrating in both journalism and women's issues. For a brief period that was spent in Beijing, she also studied Mandarin. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. Following her viral success on the Internet the My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually became a part of the album she released, Yellow Ranger. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The latter track was linked with another Awkwafina project NYC guide to traveling published in 2015. Following her success as a musician, and author and a writer, she was able to accept the roles of actor. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in film projects like Neighbors and Storks. The actress made headlines during the year 2018, appearing in a handful of high profile films, including Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by in Fina We Trust in June of the same year.
